I am so mega-ultra-excited about Coraline coming out in theaters!
I've read the book numerous times, it's really good! But even though it's supposed to be "made for kids", it's really made for more older people.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, A LOT of people are saying how much Coraline is super scary and how it freaked out people when they read the books when they were kids. Well honestly, there are creepy parts, but y'know, there are much scarier stories out there.
My mom read it and thought it was frightening, she's so sensitive! Then once she saw the trailer, she got excited too! That's kinda weird because she always thought that anything that looks like it's in Tim Burton's style is weird, even though Coraline the movie has NOTHING to do with Tim Burton- it was Henry Selick who added Tim's style, which I'm so glad he did!!!
If you go to the Borders web page, they have Coraline videos there and ones with Neil Gaiman!!!!
I really admire Neil Gaiman and his work, he has a talent and creativity. Screw anyone who thinks he's not creative!!
I admire Henry Selick too! And all those animators and artists involved with Coraline! People need to support them more!
I can't believe people in high school hardly talk about it, it's hard to talk to them about in a fanatic way without looking weird.
Oh well. We must all be obsessed with at least one movie in our lives.
Well tootles!
lol. The Other Mother.........
